The PS Vita will be releasing next year in North America & Europe on February 22. This eight generation hand held console will be the Nintendo3DS's rival as it too has been releasing descent games. The PS Vita has two analogs sticks like the PS3 controller, a 5-inch OLED multi touch touchscreen, and supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and optionally, 3G. The Vita also has LiveArea software which succeeds the XcrossMediaBar and impresive core/graphics processors. This device will be able to be backwards-compatible with any PlayStation Portable games that are digitally released on the PlayStation Network via the PlayStation Store. Not only does it have dual analog sticks, but also a rear touchpad, sixaxis motion sensing, three-axis electronic compass, front & back cameras, and obviously a d-pad. The PS Vita will be released in two different versions, one model with the normal Wi-Fi capabilities at $249.99, and the Wi-Fi plus 3G model at $299.99. Now on to more upcoming software for the Vita, games such as Uncharted, Killzone, Wipeout, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Call of Duty, and many others will be releasing right after the Vita does. In addition to being backwards-compatible, it will also support PlayStation Minis, PlayStation Suite games, PSOne classics, videos, and comics from the PlayStation Store. Other special features that the Vita will include are apps such as Facebook, Skype, Twitter and others will be downloadable from the PlayStation Store.
